Bartier Perry welcomes four to partnership

The new lateral partners beef up the corporate, property, workplace and dispute resolution practices 

Bartier Perry has welcomed four new lateral additions to its partnership in Rebecca Hegarty, Andrew Grima, Shawn Skyring and Nick Kallipolitis.

“Our strategy in recent years has focused on developing clear pathways for internal promotions along with selective lateral hires. These latest appointments continue that approach,” CEO Riana Steyn explained. “Rebecca, Andrew, Shawn and Nick not only bring extensive experience in their respective practice areas but also strong alignment with Bartier Perry from a cultural, professional and client service perspective.”

The new partners commenced their run with the firm this month.

Hegarty specialises in corporate and commercial matters, and regularly provides guidance on complex commercial transactions, PPSA issues and insolvency. Grima works with the property, planning and construction team; he has tackled issues related to retail, fashion, and FMCG. He has also advised NSW government agencies.

Skyring focuses on workplace law and culture. He has spent more than 28 years working across sectors like local government, transport, and hospitality.

Kallipolitis concentrates on dispute resolution and advisory, with a particular focus on building and construction. He also handles general litigation, IP and insolvency.

It’s a really exciting way to start a new  year and we’re very much looking forward to creating new opportunities that will arise from us being part of the Bartier Perry team,” Hegarty said.
