Shawn has almost 30 years’ experience in industrial relations, workplace and employment law.
When working with clients Shawn takes a practical approach and consistently produces timely and effective results. He has experience resolving complex and sensitive employment issues, negotiating, variation and termination of enterprise agreements and advising on industrial instrument interpretation.
His clients span a broad range of industries including local government, transport, hospitality, recreation, waste collection and recycling, cemeteries and crematoria, which complements his extensive experience in private legal practice.
Shawn has successfully represented clients in all industrial tribunals including the Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of NSW, the Fair Work Commission and the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW. He has a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by those operating within today’s employment landscape.
