Bartier Perry adds 4 partners, chief transformation officer

Bartier Perry has promoted three partners and appointed one partner and a chief transformation officer as it continues to grow.
New partner Alison Cui joins Bartier Perry’s corporate team from HNT Legal, where she has acted on a range of cross-industry transactions. Roger Habib – the firm’s first chief transformation officer – most recently worked at Westpac and has extensive experience across strategic programs, large-scale change initiatives, and critical business projects.
Kate Ralph, Raffael Maestri, and Mario Rashid-Ring were also internally promoted to partner to bolster the insurance, private clients, and dispute resolution and advisory teams, respectively.
CEO Riana Steyn said these new appointments were to support “client-led growth” at the firm.
“This is very much client-led growth in that each of those teams is seeing increasing demand for their services. We expect that trend to continue as we build and diversify our service offerings,” she said.
“The appointment of experienced financial services executive Roger Habib as our first chief transformation officer also underscores our commitment to investing in new technologies and processes that enhance client service.”
Last year, the firm launched an organisational fraud practice and unveiled a 20-week, gender-neutral parental leave policy.
In the last seven years, the firm has also doubled in growth, according to Steyn.
“These appointments reflect our approach of developing and bringing through talent while hiring externally to get the right skill sets for specific areas of the firm,” she said.
