Property Development Series Part 2: Combustible Cladding

In this seminar we will provide legal & practical insights into the history of combustible cladding, substitute and imitation products, inherent risks and examples of results when fire ignition has occurred.

Our speakers will cover the current industry positions in NSW and procedures in dealing with combustible cladding when it is discovered or suspected.

Leading the discussion will be Bruce McKenzie, National Manager Commercial Services & Major Projects with Sergon Building Consultants. Bruce has had involvement in the combustible cladding situation since 2014, being first involved in the Lacrosse Apartments fire in Melbourne VIC.

Mark Glynn, Senior Associate, Building & Construction at Bartier Perry will look at the question - who is liable? - and discuss ways to manage the risk.
