Motivation, detection and prevention of employee fraud

Date - 23 August 2023
Venue - Bartier Perry

The risk and incidence of employee fraud is on the rise. Recent high profile examples demonstrate how employee fraud can have significant negative organisational and business impacts. Now more than ever it is important to understand what motivates employee fraud and how to detect and prevent potential financial, brand, reputational and staff morale damage and loss.

Our session will focus on:

  • What drives an employee to commit fraud

  • Strategies to reduce the risk of fraud

  • When to raise the alarm and how to manage the fallout

  • Regulatory notification and stakeholder communication

  • Minimising harm and optimising avenues for recovery

This session will be moderated by Bartier Perry partner and workplace law & culture practice head Darren Gardner, with expert panellists:

Preceding the panel session, please join us for a light breakfast at our new offices where you will have the opportunity to meet other guests and chat with our panellists and the Bartier Perry Organisational Fraud & Corruption team.
